WI vs BAN 3rd ODI Match Prediction: Who Will Win Today’s 3rd ODI Match Between WI and BAN? Bangladesh

The West Indies and Bangladesh will face off in the 3rd and final ODI of their series on Thursday, December 12, at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts. With the series already in the bag for the West Indies, they’ll be looking to complete a clean sweep, while Bangladesh is hoping for a special performance to avoid leaving empty-handed.

West Indies:

The second ODI was a dominant affair for the West Indies. Their bowlers showed their class, restricting Bangladesh to just 227 runs. Jayden Seales was the star with the ball, taking an impressive 4/22 in nine overs. Gudakesh Motie supported him well with two wickets, and debutant Marquino Mindley, Romario Shepherd, Justin Greaves, and Roston Chase all chipped in with a wicket each.

With the bat, the West Indies made light work of the chase. Brandon King led the charge with a stylish 82, while Evin Lewis contributed with 49. Keacy Carty added a valuable 45 runs, and Shai Hope and Sherfane Rutherford finished things off without breaking a sweat. They comfortably chased down the target with eight wickets in hand and four overs to spare. Riding high on their recent form, the Windies will be aiming to complete a whitewash and finish the series on a high.

Bangladesh:

It’s been a tough series for Bangladesh. In the second ODI, Mahmudullah was the standout with a solid 62, while Tanzid Hasan contributed with 46. However, the rest of the top order struggled to get going. Afif Hossain made 24, and Tanzim Hasan Sakib added 45 late in the innings, but it wasn’t enough to put any real pressure on the West Indies.

The Bangladesh bowlers couldn’t make an impact either. Nahid Rana, Rishad Hossain, and Afif Hossain picked up one wicket each, but the attack lacked intensity. Shoriful Islam and Tanzim Hasan Sakib were both expensive and went wicketless. Bangladesh will need to step up their game across both batting and bowling departments if they want to make a contest of the final match.

Match Prediction:

With the West Indies in dominant form and Bangladesh struggling to find their rhythm, the West Indies will be favorites going into this match. The Windies have shown strength in both batting and bowling, while Bangladesh will need to produce something extraordinary to avoid a clean sweep. Expect another strong performance from the West Indies as they look to close out the series with a 3-0 win.

Who Will Win? West Indies are likely to win the 3rd ODI and complete a series whitewash.
